Obituary for Frank William Falkowski

Frank William Falkowski, 75, of Midland, died Thursday evening, November 22, 2018. He was born September 7, 1943 in Midland, son of the late Thomas and Anna (Olesky) Falkowski. Frank attended Midland schools and graduated from Midland High School. In February 1965, he was drafted into the United States Army to serve during the Vietnam War. After serving for two years, Frank was honorably discharged in 1967. Upon his return to Midland, Frank married the former Kay L. Breedlove on March 20, 1967. She preceded him in death on June 23, 2018. Frank worked as an operator for the Dow Chemical Company and retired from there. After retirement, he spent his time taking care of his wife Kay. Frank also enjoyed planting his garden every year, working in the yard, hunting and fishing. Although walking became more difficult for him through the years, Frank always made it to the Midland County Fair. Family was always very important to him, and he truly loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Frank is survived by his son Shane Falkowski and his girlfriend Brenda; granddaughter Allison Falkowski and her fiance Kevin Pastula; grandson Quinn Falkowski; and great granddaughters Marla Ray Falkowski and Freya Rose Pastula. He is also survived by his brothers Tom Falkowski and his wife Lillian and Georgie Flakowski, as well as his sister-in-law Wanda Falkowski. In addition to his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death by his siblings Edward Falkowski and his wife Glenna, Theodore Falkowski, and Stella Douglas.

Cremation for Frank has taken place and no services are scheduled. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Salvation Army. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Directors.
