Thomas E. Smith, 75 of Midland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the MidMichigan Medical Center. He was born on March 23, 1943 in Bay City, son of the late Henry and Evelyn (Cochran) Smith. Tom grew up in Rogers City, graduating from Rogers City High School and was a long time resident of Midland. Tom Enjoyed sports, particularly football and baseball, music, gardening, wood working and his grandchildren.

Tom is survived by his wife, Mary Smith of Midland; daughters, Michelle M. (Greg) Smith of St. Petersburg, Florida, Cindy L. (Brent) Agin of Safety Harbor, Florida; his sons, Adam C. (Michelle) Fournier of Midland, Johnathan H. (Auriel) Fournier of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; and grandchildren, Brendan Smith, Emma Agin, Grace Agin and Nathan Fournier.

Memorial services for Tom will take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street, with Pastor John Pohanka officiating. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider MidMichigan Home Care or Cancer Services of Midland.
