Obituary for Sandra M. Pozniak

Sandra M. Pozniak, 65 of Midland, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 5, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born April 13, 1952 in Detroit to Norman and Rosemary (Legumina) Pozniak. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Rosemary Pozniak and also her brother Lawrence Pozniak.

Sandra was a woman of many talents. She enjoyed crafting, furniture refinishing, and woodworking, but her true passions and delights were her family and friends. She could put a smile on anyone’s face with her little jokes, kind words, and her beautiful smile. She was a very selfless woman, always putting everyone’s needs before her own. She was a very devoted Christian, and even with all her battles she loved life.

Sandra is survived by her three children Malissa (Gabe) Kaule, Matthew (Kristie) Murray, and Anthony Murray all of Midland; her grandchildren Crystal Murray, Alyson Francetic, Eamon Murray, Eohan Murray, and Brayson Murray. Also surviving are her great grandchildren Carter and Braedyn Murray; brothers and sisters: Pam (Ronald) Blust, Sharon (Michael) Miller, Joseph (Jeanette) Pozniak, Christine Kite and Rosemarie (Wayne) Hamlin.

There will be a memorial service held in her honor on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from the Midland Nazarene Church on Jefferson Avenue. The service will begin at 11 a.m. with a luncheon to follow. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Toni and Trish House. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Directors.
